2014 "Merlin Awards"

GACC Midwest is always working to foster innovation. DB Sediments received the 2014 MERLIN Award for Outstanding Innovator for their excellence in vision, creative process, and innovation. DB Sediments is an environmental technology firm focused on water and innovation, especially with regard to the crucial role of water in the Water-Energy-Food Nexus and the storage of water. DB Sediments’ innovative ConSed Trans-Method enables the sustainable use of water as drinking water, irrigation water, and for hydropower generation, keeping the eco-system in balance at the same time. With this ecologically benificial and cost saving method, reservoirs are kept free of sediments. This innovative approach has attracted global attention, such as from the World Bank, given its potential for global development in the critically important water sector.

2013 "Platts Global Energy Awards"

Finalists were chosen from a list of over 200 nominations, based on their performance for each category's criteria within the designated time frame. The Energy Company of the Year will be selected from the entire list of finalists by the independent panel of judges including former regulators, past heads of major energy companies, leading academics and international energy experts.

DB Sediments is a finalist in the category Strategic Vision Award as "Rising Star Company" of the Year 2013.

2012 "Platts Global Energy Awards"

The Platts Global Energy Awards have been described by past entrants and winners as both the "World Series" and "Academy Awards" of energy.

Nominations have come from more than 25 countries including Brazil, Germany, India, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Russia, Switzerland, Argentina, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, United Kingdom and the United States.

DB Sediments once again was finalist in the category Sustainable Technology Innovation of the Year.

2011 "Global Energy Awards"

Each year Platts Global Energy Awards honors select groups of companies for
their strategic contribution to energy.

DB Sediments was finalist in the category Sustainable Technology Innovation
of the Year and won the 2011 Award of Excellence.
So DB Sediments was also nominated for the 2011 Global Energy Awards.

Winners of the 2011 Global Energy Awards have been announced on December 1, 2011 at Cipriani Wall Street Center in New York City.
